mbs membership Services
MBS sponsors a number of services for its members. First on this list is the monthly general membership meetings. These meetings are open to the public and are held the first Tuesday of the month (except January) at 7:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Novice classes start up each spring and several visiting artists arrive in Milwaukee to present new design ideas and techniques as well traditional bonsai style and techniques. Several workshops are sponsored to provide hands on study. Along with these events MBS sponsors exhibits and shows. It provides an extensive library for members and a wonderful monthly newsletter.
Expanding our horizons
The MBS website was formed to inspire participation in growing bonsai. We'll strive to educate members and the general public, and communicate with other bonsai organizations to share knowledge and opportunities. The goal here is to find ways to make MBS members live up to their fullest potential.
MBS is a member of the Mid America Bonsai Alliance, American Bonsai Society, National Bonsai Foundation, and Bonsai Clubs International.
